Beth York Wolf, Owner of A Pet Sitting Service, is a PSI Accredited Pet Sitter.

Beth, Owner of A Pet Sitting Service

Beth and Rocket Dogs and cats love Beth. She is one of those people that pets just go to for love and comfort. They sense her calm, kind and gentle nature and respond amazingly. Beth grew up with cats and dogs. Her first pet as an adult was a dog she found in a pawn shop. After that she found homes for several dogs and cats in need...two cats stayed and have had very long happy lives.

Beth now lives with her three crazy terriers, Razor, Rocket and Rascal.

Over the years Beth has volunteered with many animal rescue groups and currently works with Canine Castaways Rescue and the SPCA in Largo.

PSI Accreditadation Program As the owner, Beth is always concerned about the safety of all the pets cared for by A Pet Sitting Service team. She has taken many courses in animal behavior and animal safety. Beth has been trained to work with handling dogs through the SPCA.

Beth's family is very understanding and realizes that she worries about all the pets left in her care. They like to say to her, "well, what are you going to worry about now?"

Rees

Rees and Emma, his granddaughterRees is a life long animal lover. His first pet was a black and white dog that "adopted" Rees when he was three. Even though he was a city boy, Rees always had chickens, rabbits, fish, dogs and cats. For a short time, he and his wife even had 10 ponies.

Now, years later, Rees lives with Chico, a four year old chihuahua/Papillion mix and Harry, a silkie terrier. Both dogs were acquired through a pet rescue society. Rees is experienced at caring for all types of pets, large and small. He is also experienced in giving medications - pills, insulin shots and external medications - to both dogs and cats.

Rees gives love and care for pets in Dunedin, Palm Harbor, parts of Clearwater and acts as the primary backup for Beth.

Betty

BettyBetty grew up on a farm in Northern Indiana. Her first pets were barn cats and an old Collie/Chow mix dog named “Shep”. Many animal pets followed including twin lambs. Later in life, her human children were always bringing home stray animals for “Mom”.

Betty and her husband now are allowed to live with four cats in East Lake Woodlands. The oldest of the four is 20 and the next is 19. All four are rescue cats. She has volunteered and sat on the board of many rescue shelters. Last year she spent a week at the Bartow shelter set up after Hurricane Charley and has recently returned from Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah. Best Friends is the largest sanctuary in the country and this is her fourth volunteering “vacation” there.

Betty gives love and care for pets in East Lake, Oldsmar and parts of Clearwater. She also acts as back-up for Beth and Rees when needed.
